well, it turns out we have a bit of extra time before heading to our bus to olympia, so here are a few pictures from the past week! they're mostly of me, since they're all off of alex's camera. here goes:
me at the propalaea, on the akropolis in athens
alex in front of the parthenon, which is apparently always undergoing some form of restoration

i want pie!!! i'm so excited about being home for christmas and all of the fun family time and lots of delicious mom-made food! xoxo
Alex shaved off his beard! All looks wonderful! Wonder what those BIG olives taste like, or are they just squeezed for oil? Did you get a jug to take home? Some impressive sights, love the pictures.
I want pie too, guess we won't have ANY thanksgiving here, Thursday is a working day for Claudia and David is teaching his first class that night. This Sunday I'm taking the bus to Perugia, more later, G
Great pictures! You both look like the trip is a boon to your all ready gorgeous selves. I cannot wait to chekc it out in person. Just a few more weeks. Take care, and hang in with all the unexpected vagaries that travel presents! Love, Jennifer
Hi Ursula,
Finally got caught up on your latest travels.
With the usual comments from Gretchen and Merimee I feel like I'm almost eaves dropping in a way, funny.
We got a pie craving after watching "waitress"
last night. Unfortunately we went out to satisfy it with some pretty sub-par coconut cream. Guess I'll have to wait until I bake some at Thanksgiving.
Your pictures are gorgeous. I bet you have a few cards worth of memories by now.
Have a wonderful time finishing your jaunt, then it's Home for the Holidays!
Love you,
Annie
